Wishbeer Home Bar (Wishbeer Garden)
Let’s kick things off with the craft beer delivery service that we know and love. Wishbeer had recently opened its 4th “Home Bar” called the Wishbeer Garden located across the river in the Charoen Nakorn area. Just like its original location in Sukhumvit 67, the interior features high ceilings, walls made from rough concrete blocks, and iron sheeting that gives off a raw industrial-warehouse vibe. Enjoy up to 20 different crafts rotating on tap each day and fridges filled with bottles from all around the world. The food menu ranges from beer pairing snacks to hearty plates for those who come straight after work and want to catch up on dinner before enjoying a relaxing time with friends and family.
Tailor Asok
Tailor Asok is one of the most unique bars in Asoke. Inspired by a tailor shop that had been in the same complex for over 40 years, the bar features decors like sewing machines, mannequins, and coat hangers, while using neon lights to create a chic atmosphere. Casually find some seats on the second floor or hang out around the bustling bar area on the first while a live band puts everyone in a lively mood with hit songs from the ’90s - 2000s. As for drinks, you can find classic beers and whiskey options, as well as creative cocktails inspired by the whole tailor shop theme.
Funky Lam Kitchen
Occupying the same space in The Tasting Mall as Luka Moto, Funky Lam Kitchen offers a nightly Laotian dining experience unlike any other. Both floors of the restaurant come offers and laid-back vibe with some moody lighting and table candles, while the speakers put on some old-school funk that perfectly compliments the spicy notes and pungent aromas of Laotian food that we might not be familiar with. Blending in some cooking techniques and ingredients from Thailand and European countries with the original Luang Prabang heat, the food at Funky Lam Kitchen packs quite a punch with its savouriness and bold flavors. Whether it’s the Soft-Shelled Crab Som Tum, Larb Ped, or the “Jeaw Bong” spicy dip that you’re after, you can find it all here. As for drinks, you can find some specially designed cocktails and wine selections to tame the fire in your meal at the coffee counter-turned-cocktail bar on the first floor.
Vision Bangkok
EDM party fans in Bangkok has got a brand-new hangout spot in Thonglor. Offering a daily dose of Trance and EDM from over 10 top-tier residential DJs, Vision Bangkok is the perfect place to be if you feel like dancing the night away. The club features a unique entrance “tunnel” that will get you all hyped up with some colorful lighting effects and the V-shaped DJ booth that enables you to catch every second of the DJ no matter where you are in the club.
Cali-Mex Bar & Grill
Cali-Mex Bar & Grill has finally made its way to Thailand, bringing some fresh and healthy Californian style to Mexican classics like nachos, burritos, tacos, steaks, and burgers to Bangkok’s dining scene. For all you beer-lovers, Cali-Mex Bar & Grill offers some personal custom-made beer taps from Canada on some dining tables. You’re given two options, Singha and Asahi, and you can also find a nice selection of cocktails and mocktails if you’re looking for something lighter. With 6 TV screens in the dining area, sports fans can also find a nice time catching their favorites matches while taking easy with some munchies and ice-cold beers.
Cube Nightclub
Cube is a brand-new underground nightclub located on the 2nd floor of Silom Plaza. The promoters focus on bringing only the best musical talents to the venue each week for everyone to enjoy. You can find genres like Underground, House, and Techno from artists like Juany Bravo, Neil Thorpe, Glafira, Kinky D, Dan Buri, Hexer, Alex Fisher, Peking Opera and many more. The team of owners aims to support these artists to the fullest, using exposure tactics like live streaming to broadcast all of the performances in the venue through channels like YouTube and Facebook. Cube nightclub, however, opens its doors only 2 days a week (Friday and Saturday), so you can be sure to find only the best music every-time you come around.
Ladprao Sky Bar by Baan Puu
From the original “Baan Puu” Bar that’s been in the area for over 10 years, comes a new rooftop bar in Lardprao. Located nearby Union Mall, this brand-new hangout place offers a bird’s eye view of Lardprao’s bustling traffic and neighborhood. Ladprao Sky Bar offers a homey atmosphere and quality live music to its guests. You can bring your friends to enjoy some laid-back Pop, Rock, and Acoustic from 21.00 until 22.30 (performances start from 20.00 on Mondays). After the live performances come the DJ hours where you can stand up and dance through the night. You can also find a Pool Table where you can challenge your friends and order up some Thai dishes to complement your drinks. Illionaire Club Lounge
This Club Lounge in Ekkamai brings together the beautiful art of cocktail making from skilled bartenders and mixologists with some exciting Hip-Hop, Urban, and Underground House. Inside, you’ll find two floors you can explore, both giving off a raw underground clubbing vibe. Illionaire Club Lounge puts on a different variety of music each night, giving us something new to look forward to every time we come around. For example, Tuesdays are reserved for House music, while K-Hip Hop, K-Pop, Old School, and R&B are played on Thursdays. If you’re a fan of a specific genre, be sure to round up your friends for a night out with your favorite tunes.
Susie Q
The team behind recently closed Hip-Hop nightclub Blaq Lyte takes its popping vibes to Khaosarn. Located in the heart of one of Bangkok’s most popular nightlife spots, Susie Q brings a nightly dose of modern Hip-Hop. Every DJ that takes the stage are free to do what they do best, whether it’d be Old School, Future Bass, House, or even Funk in some special events. The interior keeps the same classic 60’s vibe as the original venue, Susie Pub, did before. The contr/8ast between the modern Hip-Hop tunes and the classic atmosphere makes Susie Q undeniably attractive to everyone that drops by. Atomik Club
This brand-new nightclub on Praditmanutham Road gives EDM lovers another reason to explore another area of Bangkok other than Thonglor and Ekkmai. Not only does Atomik Club have its own line-up of residential DJs and MCs, but it also brings around some of the best international acts from time to time (The most recent was Ookay, an American DJ/producer that had performed at global events like Ultra, EDC, and Lollapalooza). Inside, you’ll be struck with a mesmerizing laser show and a color-changing LED ceiling. The club also hosts themed parties from time to time, making Atomik Club one of the most exciting places to be.
The Key Room No.72
The cocktail bar hides away inside the hip Josh Hotel. Before you can pass through the giant red door bearing the number 72 on the outside, you must first check-in with the reception and obtain a bright-red key card. Once you enter, you’ll find a cozy-looking bar decorated in classic red-green color tones, taking inspiration from the movie “The Grand Budapest Hotel”. The main feature of the bar is the lengthy marble cocktail bar that invites all of us to explore the signature cocktails where each glass tells a different story of Mr. Josh’s travels in countries like Japan, Thailand, Mexico, France, Cuba, and America. There are also classic cocktails and Spirit forward that you can enjoy with some soothing Jazz, Swing Jazz, and Funk. Ross Kitchen
Ross Kitchen is one of the newest addition to Bangkok’s roster of Thai restaurants located in Akara Hotel. The restaurant brings together traditional menus from all four regions of Thailand and presents it in a unique and interesting way. Each dish is served in colorful plates and banana leaves while maintaining the traditional flavor profiles that made Thai food one of the most popular cuisines in the world. The interior is designed to resemble the beauty of the old Bangkok, more specifically during the post-1956 era in the style of outdoor movie theatres. Among all vintage vibes, you’ll find a small infused bar where you can have a chat with the bartender while enjoying a sip of your favorite cocktail. The red neon lights mimic the Thai traditions of drinking in open markets during the after hours. The decors resemble old Thai styles with traditional Thai cloth on sofas and menu books, while the walls feature old Thai movie posters and the kitchen from Thai-style tour buses.

This American-style sports bar and restaurant offers a sports fan a place to meet up and catch their favorite teams live on television. The bar transformed an all-white hole in the wall into a scene straight out of a sci-fi movie with colorful neon lights. Light bulbs are also embedded into the bars, giving up an inside look into all the ingredients and colors of all the cocktails while the bartenders are making them. The blackboard at the back notes all the details of all the drinks which rotate according to customer recommendations, ideas, and seasonal ingredients available. For example, seasonal fruits used into cocktails sometimes are bought back from travels by the owners themselves. M.T. Rollin Club
M.T. Rollin Club transformed a 100 years old colonial-style building into a cafe, restaurant, and bar with a unique old-fashioned vibe. Inside, space is divided into 4 different rooms including a living room, a tea room for ladies, a gentlemen’s club that offers cigars and tailor service, and a cafe that transforms into a restaurant and bar by evening. The interior is designed to look vintage with golden picture frames, wooden furniture, laminated tiles, and decorative indoor trees all around the building. M.T. Rollin Club serves up fusion Western food and homemade desserts as well as signature coffee, mocktails, and cocktails. Not a bad place to spend a weekend indulging on the laid-back atmosphere and delicious treats.
Favela
Favela brings pure Reggaetón, Urban, and Latino vibes to Thonglor like never before. The interior is decorated to look luxurious with mainly white colors on the floors, walls, bars, and furniture while spicing things up with some chic lighting that changes through the night. For drinks, Favela offers a wide variety of cocktails, wines, champagnes, gin, whiskey, bourbon, vodka, Tequila, and beers. There’s also some Latin American drinks and over 10 signature cocktail menu. Get in touch with the beauty of Brazilian culture and traditions through their music, drinks, and people half the world away just down the road in Thonglor.
The Champagne Bar - Waldorf Astoria Bangkok
The Champagne Bar sits up high on the 57th floor of the Waldorf Astoria Bangkok (the first in Southeast Asia). With a luxurious modern setup and a location in the heart of Bangkok, you can enjoy a bird’s eye view of the city while indulging on a romantic vibe of the night. As the name suggests, this bar offers all kinds of champagne from around the world both by a glass (680-1,200 THB/glass) and by a bottle (3,400-32,250 THB/bottle). There is also a list of creative cocktails to choose from (850-900 THB). If you’ve got a date coming up or looking for a spot to meet up for a special occasion, this champagne bar is definitely the way to go.
Mitr Bar
Mitr Bar offers a place to enjoy local craft beers from Thailand’s very own Mitr Craft project, a collaboration between six big players in the Thai brewing scene. The interior is minimally decorated with a dark color tone that gives off a cool industrial loft vibe. There’s a window corner where you can catch a view of Bangkok city, specifically Soi Rang Nam’s bustling neighborhood and a segment of the Skytrain passing by. The bar offers up to 20 craft beers, both international and local, on tap (with new beers on offer every Thursday). There are also over 20 different brands in bottles and cans in the fridges that also rotates from time to time. Mitr Bar’s also got live music every Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday night and changes between Acoustic, Jazz, Bossa, and Blues. If you’re looking for a nice spot to hang out with a group of friends or if you want to catch a conversation with a local brewer themselves, then Mitr Bar is the place to be!
Middle Bar
The Middle Bar sits in the middle between a bar and a home and is located on the 2nd floor of the unique Blue Dye Cafe. The interior is decorated into an American vintage style that gives off a classic and modest vibe that’s easy on the eye. The decoration features vintage furniture like a dark wooden bar, warm light chandeliers on the ceiling, taxidermy decors, and and the owner’s very own collections (the decor changes around from time to time). Different from the other bars, the limited space of the Middle Bar is best for engaging in conversation, just like drinking at a friend’s house. The bar offers classic cocktail menus as well as ten signature cocktails that are worth trying, uniquely names No.1 all the way to No.10 and comes in a range of strength and flavors. If you’re looking for a homespun spot for a nice drink with friends in the middle of the city, Middle Bar is the place to be.
Tenshino Bangkok
Pullman King Power opens up and brand-new contemporary Japanese dining experience with a French twist. Indulge in not only just a vibrant and chic atmosphere but also innovative dishes created from classic French ingredients paired with Chef Yohei Okita’s traditional Japanese cooking techniques. The dining room features a five meters-long “Communal Table” surrounded by private tables and an elegantly designed interior.
