You are an up-and-coming DJ & Producer from Sweden, with a focus on Progressive- & Electro House. You have been voted twice as “Most Popular Nordic DJ” (2008 & 2009) and you were ranked twice in the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs list (#79 in 2009 & #96 in 2010). How would you describe your own music in just a few words?
Happy good vibes house music with strong summer vibes!
You had a busy and equally successful 2014 – you played as guest on Steve Angello’s radio show on BBC Radio 1, released the track “The Universe” which became a huge summer hit anthem and you played 100 shows around the world. What’s on your agenda for 2015 and what are you currently and focusing working on?
Im currently starting up my own label 'Code Red' and releasing some new music from myself and my good friends! Its an exciting project that gives me an artistic freedom i’ve never had before.
This year you released the tracks “Lionheart” and “Zulu”. What other tracks, remixes or mix-sets would you recommend to someone that is not yet familiar with your music?
I just revealed my new single ‘Smile' on my Soundcloud! I’m also currently remixing Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Ne-Yo and Axwell & Ingrosso.
What were the best and the worst gigs you played and what were the funniest things that occurred during your performances?
Hahaha, good question! I think the worst gig iv ever had was in the start of my career in edmonton! The city just got shutdown becuase of a snow blizzard so we endeed up with like 3 people in a pub... needless to say, i dont remember much of the rest!
My best gig ever.... so hard to say... there is so many and each one is special in its own way. But playing Ultra music festival is always nice!
On 5th June you will perform live in Bangkok at Live RCA Bangkok. Have you visited Bangkok before? What can the Bangkok crowd expect of your upcoming performance?
I’ve been to Bangkok once and i love it! You know we swedes love Thailand, its a very special place for us! I’m gonna bring a arsenal of good vibes & house music, so bring your best smile!
