Dark & Dirty Charity Edition: DJ Mendy Indigo’s First Charity Techno Party in Bangkok
After she found her love for electronic music and decided to walk down the path with passion, Mendy Indigo is now one of the leading female DJs in Bangkok’s nightlife scene. She used to sell clothes at a night market, sang at bars, and even took up photography projects in Nepal, but now, she’s been mesmerizing the electronic music fans of Thailand with her unique style of dark and melodic Organic Techno for quite some time.
Mendy represents all the lady DJs in Thailand and she aims to bring the their Techno sounds out to the world stage as well. With her undeniable talent, Mendy will soon be taking off for a tour in Europe during August-September. Also just recently she was featured alongside the internationally-recognized DJ Nakadia on Mix Mag and Smirnoff’s latest women empowerment project, the "Global Dancefloor". The series featured a total of 20 DJs and artists over 9 editions, with each edition exploring the influential music of each country including Kenya, United States, South Africa, Lebanon, Angola, Indonesia, India, Nigeria, and Thailand.
The underlying mission of the series was to support underground DJs and shine a light on their music culture for the mass to embrace. The project and the special campaign called “We’re Open” also opened up an opportunity for talented female DJs to show their skills and gain recognition from the industry as well as support women to dare to dream big.

Mendy Indigo is also the founder of the party series “Dark&Dirty” that focuses on underground electronic music. Her goal is to provide a stage for local electronic artists to showcase their music to different crowds and giving a chance to DJs with raw talent to recognize their potential. The latest installment to this party series is the Dark & Dirty Charity Edition, Mendy’s very first charity party event.
The Dark & Dirty Charity Edition event will take place at Glow on June 14, 2018. Mendy had invited her fellow DJs, including names like Dan Buri, Elaheh, Koish, Kuroten, Sunju Hargun, Tim Roemer and X0809, to take the party to the next level. Not only will this be an epic night out with non-stop quality Techno mixes, but it will also be celebration of Mendy’s birthday and donation to charity at the same time.
All the proceeds of this party will go to Ban Nang Rern School in her hometown of Nakhon Ratchasima for their newly-launched preschool department. This will help Mendy’s childhood school purchase learning equipment, build a playground, and find toys for children ages 3-4 to aid with their development.
