Together Festival Brings About Yet Another Impressive Upcoming 7th Edition with Hardwell, Marshmello, Alan Walker and More
With festival season coming to a close in Thailand, Together Festival’s 7th edition is right around the corner, ready to wrap up the festivities with a bang! Dates have been set for the 4th and 5th of May 2018, with the two-day blowout taking place indoors at the BITEC Exhibition Center in Bangkok. Over the years, Together Festival has established themselves as a quality event, having earned their name as an anticipated weekender that music enthusiasts and revelers alike look forward to each second quarter. Read on to find out why you shouldn’t miss out on this year’s very special edition.
Together Festival’s debut in 2011 invited the likes of LMFAO, Lil Jon, and Afrojack, and over the years include major names from the dance music scene such as Martin Garrix, W&W, Axwell Ingrosso, Tchami, Justice… the list goes on. No stranger to world-class lineups, this year is no different. Global superstar Marshmello returns following his debut at the festival last year and is joined by two time DJ Mag #1 Hardwell, “Faded” hitmaker Alan Walker, progressive house DJ Sander van Doorn and trap maestro Carnage.
While the headlining acts are more than enough to create a show to remember, the five are joined by supporting acts who are indeed in a league of their own. Fans of the harder side of the genre will be delighted with appearances by Jersey Club veteran 4B, “Vomitstep” connoisseur Snails and Miami based powerhouse duo GTA. Also joining the ranks is upcoming Spinnin’ Records protege Carta, Dutch duo Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, and many others.
In continuation of last year’s two-stage setup, the aptly titled second stage Toolroom 15 Arena will showcase performances by the founder of Toolroom Records, Mark Knight himself, along with Glasgow natives Illyus & Barrientos, and deep house duo Tube & Berger. Popular regional acts are also in attendance to ensure the energy levels stay high right from the very start.
Production wise, Together Festival has always stayed atop of their game. Inching towards a more modernized and minimalistic type of stage design, prior editions have seen towering LED panels skillfully placed to form wide visual boards that display stunning colors. The dazzling pyrotechnics, shimmering fireworks, and gleaming lasers are second to none. For a peek into the complete visual experience, marvel at 2017’s top-notch stage and production from the photos below, and check out last year's after movie embedded underneath for a taste of the two-day spectacle!
Don’t be sitting at home with a major case of FOMO on a Friday and Saturday night while the hip partygoers of Bangkok get down at Together Festival to the best beats. Tickets are currently selling fast with the last remaining few final tier of general admission passes available for purchase at 2,995 THB.
