There were three immersive BLEND 285 zones that surrounded the festival grounds, with Chinatown 285, Khaosan 285 and the main stage area, "285 Tower".
The Chinatown zone took after Bangkok’s famous Yaowarat district, known for the incredible food selections. Organizers invited up to 15 popular food sellers from the area to set up stalls, making up one large “food haven”. From the favored Hainan chicken rice to barbecued skewers, to an assortment of Thai shaved ice desserts, the options were endless. Each respective stall had long lines of people in queue, eagerly awaiting a taste of the famous delicacy. The section covered a big portion of ground with plenty of seating that allowed attendees to enjoy their meal over a chat with their friends. Festival-goers in the Chinatown zone were also treated to a spectacular dragon dance show fit with glowing LEDs and sparklers!
The Khaosan zone is an immersive spot for festival-goers. Attendees in need of some downtime had the opportunity of getting 10-minute Thai Massages from skilled masseuses for free, while the adventurous tried out the on-site virtual reality games. To add to the fun, airbrushed “Cheevit Dee Rao Mee Dai” and "Chai Cheevit Hai Glom Glom" tattoos were given out for free! This became an instant trend and had people decking themselves out with colorful branded art.
Last but not least, the very heart of the event: the spectacular wide main stage, featuring soaring panels towered towards the sky with glowing decals all across. The event started off with support acts by local and regional DJs before the headliners’ took over after the sunset. Mightyfools gave a blazing powerhouse start, followed by a string of dubstep by bass music prodigy Eptic. Crowd favorite Garmiani was up next with a series of dancehall and Sikdope topped off his performance with his signature dance moves. By the time electro house Italian duo, VINAI took to the stage, spirits were high, and the energy levels were through the roof. The night ended in a blazing trail of confetti showers, pyrotechnics and fireworks!

The BLEND 285 #CheevitDeeRaoMeeDai station, situated at the exit point of the festival, became a gathering point for attendees alike. The booth was stocked with free bottled water and refreshment towels and was given out by helpful staff who catered to festival-goers on their way out. Tables, chairs, and even power sockets were made available for use. The best part was that there were Grab, Uber, and U Drink I Drive stalls on site for those in need of a ride home with promotional discount codes made specially for the event. The act of festival-goers having fun while staying safe is a top priority of BLEND 285’s campaign, hence the “Cheewit Dee Raow Mee Dai” slogan that emphasizes that anyone is able to live “the good life”, while being mindful and responsible of one’s own!
