Transmission Returns to Bangkok with a Brand New Spectacle, “The Sprit of the Warrior” Featuring Ben Nicky, Key4050, Aly & Fila, and More
Transmission Festival, often dubbed as the ‘best laser show’ in the world, originated in 2006 from Prague in the Czech Republic. Transmission is one of a kind with having an all star Trance only lineup - a definite haven for trance music enthusiasts. Since then, they have expanded to creating global footprints in 3 major continents, Prague in Europe, Melbourne in Australia and Bangkok in Asia. Moreover, Transmission brings about 45,000 festival goers across the three continents annually with many flying in from overseas just to be able to witness firsthand the mesmerizing experience curated by the festival.
This coming 17th of March 2018, Transmission Festival returns to Bangkok, Thailand as the brainchild of Czech event organizer United Music Events, Create Intelligence of Thailand, and Pure Pleasure Entertainment. BITEC Bangna has been set as the venue, which according to Transmission, is the only location that is able to support the large production scale of the event. With attendees from over 60 different nationalities last year, the second edition of Transmission Asia has claimed to be the biggest indoor festival in Thailand and has been accredited as the “biggest production to date”. There is no doubt that 2018’s is bound to be an even bigger spectacle.
First unveiled at Transmission Festival in Prague last November, Transmission Asia attendees are able to look forward to taking in the new theme of “The Spirit of the Warrior”. Through a world class stage productions, festival goers are taken on a journey told through lights, visuals, lasers and sound for an all round exhilarating experience.

“The Spirit of the Warrior” merges the history of great warriors from around the world into one live show, bringing in the key components of design, sounds and effects to life. Under state of the art stage and audio visual productions, attendees will be fueled with the energy of “conquering goals and rising above challenges”. The storyboard was created across the concept of “reaching deep within oneself” and based upon the six main virtues of a great warrior, “courage, discipline, honor, strength, unity and vision”.
With each year, Transmission surprises trance enthusiasts with an all new roster of the best acts having had Vini Vici, Omnia and Sander Van Doorn as Purple Haze. 2018 is no different.
Artists on the massive lineup include Future Sound of Egypt founders Aly & Fila, “bad boy” of trance Ben Nicky, Ferry Corsten as the unique Gouryella 2.0, host of Damaged Radio Jordan Suckley, supergroup Key4050 comprising of John O’Callaghan & Bryan Kearney with their third ever performance as a duo, Transmission resident Markus Schulz as Dakota, trance veteran The Thrillseekers as Hydra and Prague based Driftmoon with his composition as the theme music for Ceremony of Warriors.

Pre and afterparties have also been announced. Menno de Jong, Ferry Tayle, and Sean Tyas will be playing the pre-party on the 16th of March, while Driftmoon, Ferry Corsten and Standerwick will take to the decks at the after party on the 18th of March. Both events have been set for Insanity Club downtown.
