7 Upcoming Concerts Set for Bangkok This February and March
2017 has proved quite a successful year for music concerts here in Bangkok, Thailand, with the likes of Ed Sheeran, Britney Spears, and Coldplay putting on stellar performances on the land of smiles. With a new year comes a new batch of gigs, festival shows, and world tours. We’ve put together a list of the highly anticipated upcoming concerts set between the period of February and March of 2018.
G19
Genie Records celebrates 19 years of rock with G19, a large-scale festival created “by rockers, for rockers”. G19 comes about following the success of G16 three years ago, which drew a crowd like no other. The collaboration with Chang Music Connection will showcase twenty Genie Records’ artists, 25 Hours, Big Ass, Bodyslam, Cocktail, Instinct, KLEAR, Kwang Abnormal, Num Kala, Labanoon, Phalaphol, Pang Nakarin, Palmy, Paradox, Potato, Pun Basher, Retrospect, Sweet Mullet, The Mousses, The Yers, and Yes’Sir Days.
G19 will be held on the 10th of February 2018 at Rajamangala Stadium. Unfortunately, tickets are no longer available at the time of writing.

Incubus
Multiplatinum Los Angeles based Incubus have long been a staple in the rock music scene following a #1 and four top 5 albums. With a new record under their belts, the band is back on a world tour, with Singapore, Indonesia, Japan and India among the Asian leg. Released on the 20th anniversary of S.C.I.E.N.C.E, the band’s first major label debut, the aptly named ‘8’ was co produced by Skrillex and consists of some of their best tunes to date. Concertgoers who purchase their tickets before the 6th of February are entered in the running to win a Stallion Centaur Max 250cc Original Classic motorbike in a contest held by Miracle Management.
Incubus returns to Bangkok on the 15th of February at BCC Hall Central Plaza Ladprao. Ticket prices are 1,500/2,200 THB and are now available on Thai Ticket Major.

Crossplay 2
FUNGJAI’s Crossplay 2 is held in collaboration with Chang Music Connection following the success of last year’s first edition. With a larger venue for increased capacity, expect an even bigger free spirited blowout! The music platform curated a lineup perfectly made for lovers of indie, with a variety of talented regional artists on the billing. Sing your heart out to Desktop Error, Pae Arak and The Pisat Band, T-Bone, The Whitest Crow, The Parkinson, Urboy TJ, Electric Neon Lamp, Safeplanet, Musketeers, Yokee Playboy and The TOYS!
Crossplay will be held on the 10th March 2018 at Fortune Town, Sky Arena. Tickets are available at 549 THB on Ticket Melon, and 998 THB on the day of the event.

John Legend: The Darkness and Light World Tour
Globally acclaimed singer, songwriter, musician and actor John Legend is set to make his debut in Bangkok, Thailand on his upcoming Darkness and Light world tour. The “All Of Me” crooner is one of TIME magazine’s Top 100 most influential people and has been dubbed one of the world’s most talented songwriters. Not often do we get the opportunity to listen to the voice of a “legend”. Catch him perform “Love Me Now”, “Woodstock”, and “Ordinary People” live in March!
