Rimpha Festival Khao Yai
If you’re into nature, camping and bonfires, this one’s for you!
The 6th edition of Rimpha Music Festival returns on 3rd of February, in Khao Yai, Nakorn Ratchasima. The one-day festival aptly titled “SIXPERHERO” has gotten its name over the years for the vibrant vibe that radiates throughout. The large-scale event is set against a beautiful backdrop of mountains and is often attended by groups of friends and families who spend the night camping in tents right on the festival grounds.

Over 60 acts, consisting of popular Thai singers, bands and DJs will take to the stage throughout the event. Notable names include Boom Boom Cash, Joey Boy, Musketeers, POLYCAT, Slot Machine and Tattoo Color, with support by West Of East, Telex Telexs, Whale & Dolph, Coconut Sunday and Medicine Men.

Cheeze Carboot Sale
If you’re a lover of indie and appreciating the extraordinary, this one’s for you!
Cheeze Magazine is known for their quirky bits and bobs filled two day event. 2018’s Cheeze Carbootsale Festival edition returns on the 3rd and 4th of February at 8Speed Motor Track in Khao Yai. Creators, designers, influencers, and people of all ages flock to the venue in their artsiest outfits to join in the festivities. Bigger than ever with the inclusion of a Designer village, Chiang Mai village and Indian village — take your time in exploring the vast festival grounds with its many hidden gems.

Cheeze promises only the best feel-good bands playing the 3 stages this year, with Desktop Error, Buddhist Holiday, Yellow Fang, Yena and Uncle Tree being some of the announced acts on the “Field Good Sound Stage”. Have your fill shopping around the 300 “carbootsers”, try out the many food stall delicacies, and spend the night under the stars at the camping area! Guests are guaranteed a full 24 hours of fun with the adjacent biker community moto track, camping field and camper vans zone.
Tickets are now available at 400 / 800 THB for one or two day passes respectively on Event Pop. Groups of 4 are eligible to purchase passes at a discounted price of 600 THB each.
Gypsy Carnival 3 (Circus)
If you’re into free spirited bohemian vibes, and of course, motorbikes, this one’s for you!
Gypsy Carnival invites all attendees to get on their motorbikes and take a trip down to Suan Phueng, Ratchaburi on the 10th of February 2018. The third edition of the music and lifestyle festival features a Circus theme and promises “a weekend of music, the arts, the outdoors and motorcycling”. Lose yourself within the many pop up booths and art installations, along with the Gypsy Flea Market and Picnic highlights.

The nature based festival ground is made up of five main camping areas, a food and market zone, as well as a Main Stage field. Attendees also have the option to join in the fun by holding their own Food Truck, Food Tent, or have a stall set up at the Flea Market. Applications for a spot are now open on the Gypsy Carnival website.
Artists that have been announced on the lineup includes Pu Pongsit, Singhto Numchok, T-Bone, Greasy Cafe Yokee Playboy, Flure, Alyn, and The TOYS.

Yak Fest
If you’re into unique concepts and trying out the never done before, this one’s for you!
The first of it’s kind, Yak Fest is an all new festival that lasts for 24 whole hours — starting at 12 noon on the 24th of February and ending at the same time the next day. 5 lifestyle areas (Talk Village, Bitchyland, Organic Village, Rap Village and B Village) make up the festival grounds.
TedxBangkok showcases, a concert by Lipta and a stand up comedy session will be hosted by Glow Story at the Talk Village. Take part in the “What’s Your Yak” personality test activity to find out more about yourself! Curated by Trasher Bangkok, be prepared to be blown away by an exclusive drag queen and Gene Kasidit show. Activities found here include the Bitch Book, Bitchy Pool and Bitch Karaoke that all fit right under the zone namesake Bitchyland. Aiming to promote a healthier way of living, the Organic Village consists of alternative alcohol workshops, an organic recycle exhibition and a keyhole garden alongside performers YENA, Greasy Cafe and Chart Suchart. Performances by Thaitanium, FUKKING HERO, FIIXD, VKL, and Maiyarap, as well as rap related activities such as a rhyme exhibition, graffiti wall and a rap fashion photo contest an be found at the Rap Village. Be sure to check out the variety of American dishes found there! Last but not least is B Village, short for Beer Village, this area showcases beer crafts from Estrella, Lady Breau, Beat Brewing, What The Pug, Frog, Space Craft and more! 20 Something On the Beach Festival Pattaya
If you’re into beach parties, carnivals and wonderfully crafted drinks, this one’s for you!
Hosted by 20Something Bar and Jonnie Walker, the annual 20Something On The Beach party is back on the 3rd of March 2018. First began as a way of celebrating the passing of a successful year, the event now stands as the bar’s colorful tradition that is attended by many. The event begins at 4 pm in the afternoon at The Sign Hotel in Pattaya and as the organizers put it, lasts till everyone gets “drunk”.

The festival takes over a carnival-like theme, with a Ferris wheel, interactive pop-up booths and many fiestas themed finger foods lining the grounds. Having had a massive stage and production team manning the performances in previous editions, it is no surprise that this year’s lineup does not disappoint. Cocktail, Thaitanium, Ur Boy TJ, Mild, Giraffe Noi, and Raven Doll, are among some of the names that have been announced.

Sunset Beach Festival
If you’re into the arts and grooving out to Ska music while the sun sets, this one’s for you!
Heavy Organizer’s Reggae themed Sunset Beach Festival is back on the 31st of March 2018. Held at Platoo Restaurant on Cha Am Beach, the event is a favorite of lovers of the popular Jamaican influenced music. Hand drawn paintings in whimsical prints and stalls showcasing beautiful tie dye line the walkways filled with guests who have their best outfit on, providing a striking splash of color against the white sandy beach.

The live music and festivities tend to last till early morning, with the beats of the conga echoing across the ocean. Artists on the billing this year include T-Bone, Job 2 Do, Singto Numchok, Srirajah Rockers, Mocca Garden, Miraculous, Walrus, Gold Red, Samainainiyom, Rastafari 4-e, B-King, Dajim and more!
