When news of AnotherWorld Festival broke late last year, hardstyle ravers rejoiced. Not only was their favorite genre going to dominate a full festival, but it was being done in style on a very grand scale. With new dates now confirmed as March 4th, 2017 – the festival organizers are preparing to “unleash the untamed” at a totally new location that has never hosted a festival before – Motorsports Land (formerly Daen Neramit).

1. Massive Effects on a Grand Stage
You are about to witness an awesome show at AnotherWorld Festival. The organizers are working under the premise that the world will not last very long, so in order for all of the revelers to escape and evade to the “other side” they will need to pack the stage with a lottttttt of effects. Expect earth shattering lasers, intense lights, dense smoke, and scorching pyro machines – pretty much anything that will enhance your dancing through the different senses. These effects will be situated on a world class stage that will leave you in awe. Forget your typical rectangular stage, the AnotherWorld stage will be one to be remembered – and most likely one that you have never seen before. Think pillars, think dimension, think different. But beware, the beat might get so hard hitting that you dance your way into the ground. At the very least you get to do it while witnessing some massive effects on a stage that has broken the mold.
2. First Official Fancy Festival
Dressing up for festivals is nothing new – a lot of people actually do it all the time. It is likely that you will see a guy decked out in an alien body suit pop up next to a girl dressed up as a sexy banana wearing nipple stickers from time to time at festivals but these costumes are normally uncoordinated. At AnotherWorld Festival the theme is clear and everyone is encouraged to dress up because this is not just a festival, AnotherWorld doubles up as a fancy costume party as well. Expect everyone to be decked out in their best dark look. Think of the exquisite, the mysterious, the freak, the grandiose, the sinister, the nymph, the nightmarish, the eerie, the whimsical, the grotesque, or the lunatic – these are just some of the themes that you should be considering when planning your costume for March 4th. 3. First Hardstyle Festival in SEA
More recently, hardstyle may have taken on an “underground” or backseat role whilst EDM was blowing up on the stages of festivals across the region. AnotherWorld Festival is determined to change that. Billed as the “first hardstyle festival in Southeast Asia”, the organizers want to bring hardstyle to the forefront and showcase the hard and heavy beats that have given rise to so crazy nights around the world.
4. Witness Legendary Hardstyle DJs
As a fairly niche genre, hardstyle only blew up in the early 2000s. Since then some prominent DJs have made a name for themselves strictly playing to this heavy hitting, compressed kick drum sound. At least 4 of those DJs will be at AnotherWorld Festival 2017 including:
COONE
Coming in at number 57 on DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs in 2016, Coone is showing the world why hardstyle has a place on the top of the charts. The Belgian DJ released his newest album mid-2016 and showcases his unique sound that echoes through any hall. Get ready to hear some of his newest stuff when he pops by AnotherWorld.
Noise Controllers
The Dutch duo hardstyle duo was together for 8 years before splitting up in 2013. As a solo act, Bas Oskam continues to carry the eclectic sound that the duo use to produce and remains open minded to new and different sounds, which is the Noise Controllers’ distinguishing trademark.
Code Black
Having appeared on some of the world’s biggest stages like Defqon.1, Qlimax, Mysteryland, Tomorrowland, HardBass, and Decibel, Code Black is regarded as one of the forefront hardstyle DJs of this generation. The Australian DJ has appeared in past installments of DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs and continues to bring the house down with every performance.
Zatox
Making DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs at number 92 in 2016, Zatox is a versatile producer/DJ who tends to keep the hardstyle sound fresh. The Italian DJ is a mainstayer in the DJ rankings and has gone as high as number 36 in 2012. After the release of his album “New World Order” in 2015 he is determined to come back stronger and better in 2017.
5. A Lifestyle Music Festival
When you arrive at AnotherWorld Festival, you will not just be there to dance. The organizers promised that this will be an experience whereby all lovers of hardstyle can truly immerse themselves into the lifestyle of colliding worlds. Every attendee is encouraged to “dance to the beat of eternity” and to break all the rules. In the words of the organizers, “BE BRAVE. BE BOLD. BE BEAUTIFUL. This is a divine celebration of AnotherWorld.”
