Whether you are looking to chill out to the songs of your favourite Thai artists or full-out rave with your friends to the latest EDM music, this winter definitely has a music festival to satisfy your tastes and needs.
Bangkok locals and visitors are spoiled when it comes to music festivals. There are only a few months in the year when you can't visit a festival where thousands of people of vastly different backgrounds gather and unite in their love of music.
Below we curated a list of the top 10 music festivals we think you should not miss this winter if you love to party.
#1 Waterzonic 2015
SCG Stadium, Bangkok
After the explosive debut in 2014, WATERZONIC returns in 2015 for the second instalment. The festival will combine features of an EDM festival - such as a huge stage, world-class sound system, massive production with lighting, lazes & special effects - with features of Thailand's popular Songkran festival.
Confirmed artists are Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike (the current #1 of DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs list), as well as W&W, DANNIC, R3HAB and Goldfish and Blink.

#2 Season Of Love Song 6
Veneto Suanphueng, Ratchaburi
The 6th instalment of the romantic "Season Of Love Song" live music festival. The event is dedicated to love songs and will feature a huge lineup with 15 popular artists including Scrubb, Mild, 25Hours, Stamp, New&Jiew, Sqweez Animal, Pop&Wan, Aim&Nam, Paradox, The Parkinson, J-Jetrin, Armchair and Nuvo. The location is Veneto theme park in Suan Phueng, Ratchaburi.

#3 Overcoat Music Festival 2015
Amphitheater, Phetchabun
Overcoat Music Festival 2015 will be the 6th year of the music festival. It takes place at Starlight by Jolly Land, Khao Kho (Phetchabun). The huge lineup of artists & bands includes 25 Hours, Two Popetorn, Stamp, Apartment Khunpa, Tabasco, Palmy, Slot Machine, Ben Chalatit, Boom Boom Cash, Jetset'er, Polycat, Gene Kasidit, Slot Machine and many more! Tickets are 1600 Baht and available at every branch of 7-Eleven.

#4 808 Festival 2015
Bitec Bangna, Bangkok
808 Festival 2015 will be the 3rd instalment of Bangkok's leading EDM festival, taking place once again at BITEC (Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre). There will be two stages - the main stage dedicated to EDM, and a second stage hosted by Sunn (by Kolour) dedicated to House & Techno.
The headliner of the main stage of the festival will be the Grammy-nominated superstar DJ & Producer Armin Van Buuren, joined by Axwell Λ Ingrosso & Oliver Heldens. The Sunn arena will feature Jamies Jones & Claude VonStroke.
#5 Wonderfruit Festival 2015
Siam Country Club, Pattaya
Wonderfruit Festival 2015 is the second instalment of Asia's first lifestyle outdoor festival. The 4-day festival combines arts, music and food and blends entertainment and mindful living. The event will feature live music artists and DJs, fine food stalls with a great variety of food options, eco-farming, health & wellness activities, natural adventures and talks, debates & workshops.

#6 Big Mountain Festival 2015
Kaeng Krachan Country Club, Phetchaburi
Big Mountain Music Festival is back with its 2015 edition. This year will be the 7th instalment of Thailand's most successful yearly music festival. It will be held on Saturday 19th & Sunday 20th December. The event will feature numerous stages with several music styles with live bands and DJs.

#7 Output Festival 2015
Bitec Bangna, Bangkok
After his sold out debut in 2013, EDM superstar and the current #7 on DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs list makes his highly anticipated return to Bangkok for Output Festival 2015. The French DJ, recording artist and remixer has sold over 9 million albums and 30 million singles worldwide and was voted as the #1 DJ in the DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs list in 2011. His hit record "When Love Takes Over" has won a Grammy Award and was crowned as the #1 dance-pop collaboration of all time by Billboard this year. More artists will be announced soon.
There is an exclusive Combo-Ticket at 4,600 Baht which entitles the ticket holder to join two events - the 808 Festival (on December 9) & Output Festival with David Guetta. Dedicated festival tickets (for Output Festival only) will go on sale closer to the event date.

#8 Yell Music Festival 2016
Mountain Creek, Nakhon Ratchasima
20 Something Bar and Matching Entertainment invite for their "YELL FEST" music festival 2015 at Mountain Creek Golf Resort And Residences (Khao Yai, Nakhon Ratchasima). The huge lineup features some of Thailand's most popular Pop & Rock bands, including The Parkinson, Yokee Playboy, Polycat, Flure, Zeal and Mild.
All bands will be joined by another band or artist on stage and they will perform together. The DJs of the Rave&Glow crew will take of the after party. There will be a food area with over 80 food vendors. The event date of Yell Fest was just recently moved from 21 November to 23 January. It might be changed again.

#9 Arcadia - The Bangkok Takeover 2016
Lumpini Square, Bangkok
After the spectacular debut in December 2014 - which brought the Arcadia Spectacular Festival from the UK to Bangkok for the first time - Gravity Thailand brings the Arcadia Spectacular to Bangkok once again. The festival will take place on January 2016 at Lumpini Square (former Suan Lum Night Bazaar | close to Lumpini MRT station).
Confirmed headliners are the two Dubstep giants ZOMBOY & MUST DIE as well as DJ BL3ND (Electro House).

#10 Maya Music Festival 2016
Na Kluea, Pattaya
After the explosive debut of Maya Music Festival in Bangkok in 2015, the festival returns with the 2016 edition - this time taking place at the beach of Pattaya. The festival will feature 2 stages - an EDM stage headlined by Dash Belin (the #15 of DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs list) and a Live stage with Thailand's most popular bands & artists including Thaitanium, Potato, Da Endorphine, Big Ass, 25 Hours and Cocktail.
One additional headliner and four supporting headliners for the EDM stage will be announced closer to the event. The Maya Music Festival is under the concept of YAK (the giants of the Ramayana epic) - an electronic dance music festival combined with Thai Arts.
