42 EDM Beats You Should Dance to Before 808 Festival 2019
Here's our playlist of top tracks from the second phase lineup, including Skrillex, Calvin Harris, Zedd, and more!
We doubt there’s any Thai EDM fan who hasn’t heard of 808 Festival Thailand – a long-established annual event known for its state-of-the-art production. Previous installments have brought many world-class acts to Thailand’s dance music scene.
Last year’s excitement features Armin Van Buuren as one of the headliners. (The DJ has never left the top five ranks on DJ Mag Top 100 DJs since 2004.) Others include Skrillex, Vini Vici, NWYR, and REZZ, who all gave the audience incredible shows.
You can bet that the 7th installment is going to be as spectacular as the previous years, if not more. 808 Festival Thailand 2019 is pulling all stops for party goers with three days of blood-pumping entertainment on December 6-8, 2019 at Bitec Bangna.
The official first phase lineup includes six names that already make the decision to join the festival a no-brainer. The first headliner, joining 808 Festival for his second time, is Skrillex. The dubstep legend has received countless accolades; most notable of all are eight Grammy awards. (So far, he’s the only EDM artist to manage such a feat.)
The second is Calvin Harris, who’s currently ranked at #19 on DJ Mag Top 100 DJs 2019. He’s released several hits heard by worldwide audiences such as “This Is What You Came For”, “Summer”, and “How Deep Is Your Love”, with each of the tracks having gained over 1-2 billion views on YouTube.
Also joining the festival is Zedd - a prominent dance-pop music producer who’s known not only for many top hits but also his work with several industry titans.
He has produced tracks for the likes of Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, and Ariana Grande, and was featured as a headliner at the iconic music festival, Coachella. Zedd has taken to the stage at Tomorrowland, Ultra Music Festival, EDC Las Vegas, and Spring Awakening Music Festival as well.
The three headliners will be supported by various talents throughout their shows. First up is Dyro, a Dutch DJ/producer whose distinct progressive house sounds put him on the public radar. He’s also worked with big-name artists such as Hardwell, Martin Garrix, and Tiësto.
Generik, a house DJ from Melbourne, puts out incredibly unique sounds for both his original tracks or remixes. (You just have to experience them for yourself!)
Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano is an Amsterdam-based duo whose seductive electronic beats bring them all over the world, from epic festivals to world-class upscale nightclubs.
The second phase lineup adds four more amazing acts to the event. Dutch duo Blasterjaxx is gearing up to blow the crowd away with their big room beats.
After that, get ready for Perto - a young DJ/producer from Sydney. At merely 17 years old, his outstanding work has landed him on tours across several countries despite having debuted a little over a year ago.
Making her debut in Thailand is Softest Hard – a Vietnamese-American DJ. And finally, there’s Yung Bae with his signature future funk that’ll take everyone to the dreamland.
Before we go dance together at the stageside, let’s get you into the groove and mood for the party with our playlist. Here are 42 EDM tracks from fourteen artists on the third phase lineup. Be sure to have a listen and get ready to vibe with us at 808 Festival Thailand 2019!
