Evil Man Blues Valentine’s Speed Dating
If fate hasn’t brought you a soulmate, it’s time to take matters into your own hands.
Evil Man Blues will be your matchmaker again at this year’s Valentine’s Speed Dating. They’ve received an overwhelming demand after their first event last year.
At this jazz cocktail bar, 20 single men and women can sit down and get to know each other. Pinkish purple neon lights can help set the mood. Sip on the bar’s gin and tonic, as two free drinks are included with 300 THB tickets.
To further add to the classic and romantic aura, DJ Panna and DJ Sattra will be playing vinyl records for you throughout the event starting from 20.00.

18.30 - 500 Days of Summer (2009)
The critically-acclaimed movie has received awards such as Satellite Award, Independent Spirit Award, and nominations for the 67th Golden Globe Award. The story revolves around Summer, a woman who doesn’t believe in true love, and Tom, a firm believer of fate who had fallen head over heels for her.
20.30 - Corpse Bride (2005)
Tim Burton’s stop-motion animation starts when a young man, Victor, messed up his wedding rehearsal and walked into the woods to recite his vows. With those words and a ring, he found Emily, a bride who was murdered in her wedding gown. She took him to the land of the dead.

Piano Recital - Romantic Music
Being serenaded by the sound of classical music on a piano is essential to a romantic night. Alliance Française Bangkok is making everyone feel the extra love on Valentine’s night with a piano recital by Philippe Guilhon-Herbert, the world-famous pianist from Paris, France.
He has prepared well-loved music such as Polonaise, Impromptu No. 2 by Chopin, Rêve d'amour by Liszt, and others for your enjoyment. The recital will take place at the auditorium from 19.00. Tickets are priced at 500 THB.
Cafe Mademoiselle, located inside the Alliance Française Bangkok, will also join in on this event. They’re offering dinner packages to celebrate Valentine’s Day.
The 1,050 THB course consists of three mini-starters, one main course, and dessert with a glass of wine. For wine lovers, the package could be upgraded to 1,700 THB; you’ll get an extra glass of champagne. (Recital tickets not included.)

From 22.00 to 02.00, enjoy the beats and good vibes by DJ Pepe. Play “Hit the Piñata”, a Mexican tradition where you hit a paper-maché doll open to get the sweets inside.
