The retro vibe we get from the atmosphere inside the cafe perfectly reflects the taste and stylistic nature of Mr. Phuwanart. It’s a perfectly balanced mixture of beautiful vintage collections and colorful flowers from nature. From a hobby of collecting rare vintage items came an idea to decorate his shop with them to express more of his personality. Once walk up the stairs and into the cafe area, it’s almost like stepping into a time machine traveling back in time. The glamorous crystal chandeliers on the ceiling impossible not to notice. The sunlight reflecting off the early 14th-century candelabrum perfectly compliments the exotic colors of the flowers and leaves that are hanging off the ceiling and walls of the room. The brick walls are lined with framed pictures of all sorts, and the floor and shelf are filled with decors made with both Thai and European artistry. The place is a spectacle in itself.
Other than the stunning interior decors and design, you’ll find some of the most creative dessert items and drinks on offer for you to enjoy. There’s a vast selection of tea and coffee that you can catch a smell of in the first moments of the entrance. Try out the Cherry Roast Tea and the Lavender Roast Tea for starters.
Then there are the homemade cakes from the professionals behind “Bite Me Softly” bakery that are freshly delivered every day. The Chocolate Raspberry Rose is the perfect blend of bitter chocolate, sourness of the raspberry, and sweet aroma of rose petals. Don’t forget to try their ice creams and smoothies as well!
You might catch sight of the stairs leading up to another floor that used to be a room filled with rare collector’s items for you to admire and even purchase, but is now closed off. Mr. Phuwanart said he is planning to open a restaurant on said floor to accommodate more guests and go full circle with his food business. As to what style of cuisine or decor we’ll have to wait and see.
