LAUGHS2SMILES: A Charity Comedy Night That Brings Smiles to Children in Need
It has been the mission of Operation Smile Thailand since 1997 to bring the ability to show happiness back to children who are unable to do it due to facial deformities. Since their inception, Operation Smile Thailand has been the organization behind the provision of over 12,000 free reconstructive surgeries to indigent children and young adults born with facial deformities around the region. With as little as THB 25,000 and 60 minutes, Operation Smile’s team of volunteer doctors are able to change the lives of these children who would otherwise be left with lifelong deformities. The operation allows the children to be breathing, drinking, eating, and speaking just like any child would again and ensuring that these children are able to smile like they are supposed to.
On Saturday, December 23, 2017, at Game Over Lounge Thonglor, Operation Smile Thailand is back with another charity event and this time has partnered up with Alchemy Collective to bring in the laughs – literally. With the introduction of their first LAUGHS2SMILES night of comedy, they are aiming to raise more funds to continue their mission of helping children with a cleft lip or cleft palate. All proceeds from the night will go to charity and will immensely help Operation Smile Thailand to increase their ability to provide more medical procedures to those in need. If you are looking to have some fun but do a lot of good while you are at it, LAUGHS2SMILES is the event to be at!

''Asia’s Most Hilarious'' Comedians
The main attractions of the night are two of Asia’s brightest comedy stars from Malaysia – Kheran Maha Devan and Kavin Jay. Kheran Maha Devan is an up-and-coming stand-up comedian who’s quirky style has brought laughs to many. He will be opening the show for the one and only Kavin Jay, a veteran comedian who has wooed crowds in the region with his style. Kavin’s jokes have taken him to the KL Comedy Club. In addition, Kavin also has contributions to TEDxKL with insightful topic choices like “When People Laugh At Your Passion” so you know he is good at what he does. If you thought that was all, the night will also be hosted by the hilarious Papi Zack to ensure that the event will not have a single dull moment.

LAUGHS2SMILES happens on Saturday, December 23, 2017, at Game Over Lounge Thonglor. Doors open at 7 pm. They are now available online for 800 Baht at pre-sale prices or 900 Baht at the door. For those who want to get VIP tables, those are also available for 6,000 Baht (for 6 people) and 3,000 Baht (for 3 people). Tickets are limited! So hurry and get your tickets!
