5 places to watch Euro 2016 football in Bangkok
With club football coming to an end, we now prepare for the upcoming European Championships, taking place from June 11 until July 11, where national teams from all over Europe compete to become the best on the continent.
This is an event that comes once every four years, but when it does, everyone, not only football fanatics, are bound to join in on the festivities. Yes, you can watch it at home, but why not head out with your friends and take in a whole new footballing atmosphere?
So, we have compiled you a list, in no particular order, of some interesting places to watch Euro 2016 in Bangkok!
1) Superflow City Beach Club
If you want a large crowd, large screen, along with a DJ, all set in a beach club setting; this is definitely the place for you.
Superflow City Beach Club has prepared a special event to mark the start of Euro 2016, with their Kick-off Pre-Party. They also have a promotion of 20 people & get two free bottles of vodka where there is no entry fee.
There is also a set menu available for the event, along with performances from DJ Ome & the talented Funky Dojo Band, with shows, games, and competitions as well.
Apart from the Kick-off Pre Party, Superflow will also look to show all the matches via their free public viewing during the month-long competition due to start on June 11th.

2) Mulligan’s Irish Restaurant & Bar
Mulligan’s Restaurant & Bar is another great place to watch Euro 2016 or any other sporting event given that they are open 24 hours.
This means that they will show all matches LIVE, starting from the opening ceremony, the first match between France and Romania, all the way to the finals on July 11.
Given their name, they are designed to look and feel like a standard Irish pub, with a pool table, and a LCD TV screen on every corner, giving you guaranteed access to the match being shown.
A large crowd is expected, so be prepared to cheer on your favorite team with people from all walks of life. They also serve food (calamari, fish n’ chips, rib-eye steak) as well as a large selection of beer and other alcoholic beverages (Chang, Singha, Carlsberg, Ohara’s Pale Ale, Magners).

3) The Kiwi Sports Pub & Grill
The Kiwi Sports Pub & Grill is another establishment that focuses on all your sports viewing pleasures and will showcase all Euro 2016 matches.
Even though the first match starts at 8:00pm, we recommend you head down with some friends for their happy hour (beers at special prices), every day from 9:00am until 7:00pm.
Here you will be able to find a variety of food selections available for order, ranging from starters (Potato & Bacon Chowder, Classic Caesar, Greek Salad) all the way to larger meals (Bangers & Mash, Grilled Pork Chops, Roast Chicken).
In regards to their drink menu, there are a host of selections available, ranging from local to imported beer all the way to tequila and signature cocktails. You can also order non-alcoholic drinks such as juice, coffee and tea.

4) The Sportsman Bar & Restaurant
We start off with The Sportsman Bar & Restaurant, an establishment that highlights their ability to show almost every important sport event available thanks to their 26 LED TVs and eight large HD projectors.
Apart from just watching football or any other sporting event, they have a number of full size Brunswick tournament edition pool tables, dartboards, Foosball table, as well as Golden Tee.
In regards to Euro 2016, they will show every single match, even the 2:00 am ones, so heading here means you will get to watch every single match. There is also a variety of food and drinks available for order, along with a large selection of draught and bottled beer to enjoy with your friends.

5) Novotel Hotels (Fenix Silom & Ploenchit Sukhumvit)
Both Novotel Hotel Fenix Silom and Novotel Hotel Ploenchit Sukhumvit will be hosting the Euro 2016 competitions for 24 hours a day throughout the tournament period.
This means you can actually spend the entire day at their selected venues, drinking and eating for an entire month!
The Stone Bar (Fenix Silom) features comfortable chairs in an air conditioned room, with their happy hour starting at 5:00pm up until 7:00pm, an hour before the first match kicks off. Food and non-alcoholic beverages are also available upon request.
Dee Lounge & Beer Garden (Ploenchit Sukhumvit) features both indoor and outdoor rooms, along with 75-inch big screen-TV to increase your viewing pleasure. They also have an Asahi beer promotion (99 baht from midnight to morning), with food available for order until midnight.
