A First Look Into The Interstellar NASA X Vans Sneaker Collection
Vans is a brand that loves to collaborate, and the results are always awe-inspiring. From popular musicians and athletes to fashion brands, Vans had always been really creative with who they choose to work with. The collections born from brilliant minds behind this classic sneaker brand and their celebrity partners are what keep the Vans fans on their feet at all times, and now, they're taking things to new heights (out of this world if you will) with an alliance with NASA. But instead of funding an outer space exploration or conducting a zero-gravity experiment, the national space agency of the United States is giving it a go at designing sneakers this time.
This post from an Instagram account @dirtymoney823 (which has already been deleted) reveals a pair of sneakers from the NASA X Vans collection. The pair is a white leathered Old Skool, a Vans classic skate shoe, with Grey denim tongues and foam-padded collars. At the back, you'll find a removable Velcro strap bearing the United States national flag and on the side is the full NASA logo in red with the full name also written on the bottom.
Of course, with a collaboration with an entity as big as NASA, the outcome doesn't stop with just one pair of sneakers. Multiple Instagram account are also starting to reveal more of the exclusive NASA X Vans collection that includes another Old Skool Vans in a shade of orange, the Sk8-Hi 46 MTE in both black and white, a black Slip-On, a white backpack, and also an orange duffel bag.
Rumor has it that the NASA X Vans collection will officially be released on October 1, 2018, but the details on the pricing and availibility is still up in the air. If you want to add these stylish items with the NASA logo, be sure to keep up-to-date with the latest news from Vans so you can be one of the first to get a hand on them. The waiting game starts now!
