PUMA releases special editions of Roma and Basket to honor Mexico's annual 'Day of the Dead' festival
The "Day Of The Dead" (Día de los Muertos) is a festival celebrated throughout Mexico. The multi-day holiday, taking place from 31 October to 2 November gathers family and friends to pray for, remember and honor departed loved ones in a joyful celebration of their life and accomplishments.
This year, PUMA has released a special "Day of the Dead" collection with variations of its popular Roma and Basket sneakers. The shoes are made of black jacquard material, featuring vibrant colors and signature flower and skull graphics, and black suede detailing at the lace closure and the Puma formstrip.
The shoes have hit the stores this October 13. On the Puma website, they are being sold for $85 USD (Basket) and $90 USD (Roma).
