Every brand seems to be hoping to end the year with a bang with the releases of limited-edition creations and collaborations with top artists and designers from around the world. Some collections have got the fans all hyped since the beginning of the year, while some hinted of an even greater collaboration that is to come in 2020. All in all, these last couple of months have been wild for sneaker enthusiasts.

GOLF le FLEUR* x Converse Chenille Chuck 70
The GOLF le FLEUR* x Converse Chenille Chuck 70 is the result of the latest collaboration between the classic American shoe brand Converse and rapper Tyler, The Creator. This time, they’ve selected the Chuck 70 as the base model and decided to put a sweet spin on it.
The pair features a lovely pastel pick canvas fabric and detailed embroidery of the words GOLF le FLEUR* and flowers in light yellow and blue color tones. The GOLF le FLEUR* x Converse Chenille Chuck 70 has been released since November 11, 2019, and is priced at $110 (about 3,400 THB) a pair.
Nike x Off-White Vapor Street Athlete in Progress
Inspired by the will power and spirit of professional runners, Virgil Abloh, founder of famed street brand Off-White, decided to join forces with Nike and continue his work on the Athlete in Progress collection once again.
This time, Virgil decided to ramp up the original Vapor Street running shoe with new designs and substance. The new-look features racing spikes with strikingly colorful patterns and silhouettes. You can pick from 3 different colors including Tour Yellow, Polarized Blue, and Laser Fuchsia.
The latest Nike x Off-White Vapor Street had been released since November 14, 2019, and is available in Thailand at 5,800 THB.
G-Dragon’s PEACEMINUSONE x Nike Air Force 1 “Para-noise”
The PEACEMINUSONE x Nike Air Force 1 ‘Para-Noise’ was one of the most anticipated sneakers since it was only a concept in a lookbook. Now, after a series of teasers, we have can finally have an official look at the creation.
The iconic Air Force 1 was chosen as a base model for this collaboration between G-Dragon, Big Bang’s leader and founder of street fashion brand PEACEMINUSONE, and Nike. The PEACEMINUSONE x Nike Air Force 1 ‘Para-Noise’ is said to celebrate GD’s infatuation with hip-hop and the element of style express associated with his music.
A total of 4 different models were officially released including a global model that features a white Swoosh branding, the Korea Exclusive (818 pairs only) that has a red Swoosh, Friend & Family (88 pairs only) that comes with a yellow swoosh, and the GD signature (100 pairs only) that comes a with an autograph from GD himself which Nike Korea gives out to fans through an exclusive activity on their website.
The PEACEMINUSONE x Nike Air Force 1 ‘Para-Noise’ was officially released on November 23, 2019, and priced at 7,000 THB on the Nike website (which has since been sold out already!). You might need to do some digging for them as we've heard that the resale price for this masterpiece had skyrocketed to double the original price.
Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Bloodline”
The Air Jordan 1 High OG “Bloodline” is part of the Nike Air Jordan FEARLESS Collection release as a celebration of the 35th anniversary of the legendary Jordan 1 model. With the help of various artists and designers, there are up to 12 unique models for us to see from this collection.
The Bloodline comes in a classic red-black colorway and features edges lined with red piping and white base leathers that give an overall modern look to it. The pair had been released on November 29, 2019, and is also available in Thailand for 5,800 THB.
Prada x adidas Superstar
The worlds of sportswear and luxury fashion have once again crossed paths, this time with Adidas and PRADA linking up for a two-prong collaboration to end the year with a bang. The two global fashion brands decided to give the classic Adidas Superstar a new look.
The design features an overall white color tone with PRADA and Adidas logos embedded on both the tongue and inner soles. This collection also comes with a limited-edition signature Bowling Bag from PRADA that will complement the Adidas Superstar very nicely.
Released on December 4, 2019, on both the Adidas and PRADA websites, only 700 sets are available for this limited collection. Each set comes with a handsome retail tag of about $3,200 or approximately 97,000 THB!
One Piece x Puma LQD CELL
Inspired by the ongoing battle between “good and evil” that had been a core of the manga series, the new joint effort between One Piece and PUMA have resulted in a fresh new pair of sneaker that’s just hard to resist.
The LQD CELL model used for the collaboration utilizes the overall white color tone to bring out all the little cool details hiding in every corner of the sneakers. For example, if you place the shoes in the dark, the pirate flag of the Straw Hat Pirates will start to glow in the dark on the Upper.
This reflects both the "good" and "evil" within both the marines and the pirates and the idea that nobody is white (good) or black (evil), but rather a mixture of both.
The collaborative LQD CELL shoes were just launched on December 13, 2019, though the Japanese PUMA website with the retail tag at 16,000 JPY or about 4,500 THB.
The Fear of God ESSENTIALS x Converse Chuck 70
As part of The Fear of God ESSENTIALS 2019 Holiday Collection, popular street fashion brand Fear of God had decided to give their fans another holiday surprise with a collaboration with Converse that had resulted in a minimal yet elevated take on the Chuck 70 model.
The Fear of God ESSENTIALS x Converse Chuck 70 comes in a cool grey hue with contrasting hits of off-white on the tongues, laces, and rubber to cap. It also features an extra lace loop and extended laces that wrap around the collar, giving off a high-top boot look, and the brand logo badge of both Fear of God ESSENTIALS and Converse on each shoe’s heel.
This exclusive collection was released on December 13, 2019, at PacSun stores and the PacSun online store at around $110 or about 3,400 THB.
Converse Chuck 70 Hi “Egret/Multi”
Even with all the collaborations underway with multiple global brands, Converse had decided to drop its iteration of the Chuck 70 Hi, featuring the vivid psychedelic art swirls of "Egret/Multi". The marble-like crossover of pink, blue, yellow, and orange hues sets the pair aside from any other sneakers you've seen.
The Converse Chuck 70 Hi 'Egret/Multi' had been available since December 16, 2019, and is priced at $99 or about 3,000 THB.
Nike Air Force 1 “Fossil”
2019 is the year of the Air Force 1 as countless new designs have been released within the year. The Nike Air Force 1 “Fossil” is no exception and have drawn quite a lot of attention itself with its simple yet elegant “Fossil” colorway, special details, and unique prints.
The fossil-colored leather upper complements the brown leather-like patterns around the eyelets. The eye stays are constructed of brown and tan stingray leather, adding to the material contrast and complimenting the branding on the tongues perfectly.

Off-White x Nike Dunk Low
The wait is finally over for all the hardcore sneaker fans as the Off-White x Nike Dunk Low had finally been released on December 20, 2019, at 6,100 THB a pair.
For this creation, Virgil Abloh, founder of the Off-White brand, had decided to ramp up the Dunk Low sneaker model with essential Off-White aesthetics and elements, creating a unique piece of wearable art.
A unique secondary Flywire lacing system is added with its eyelets, similar to those seen in rock climbing shoes, to better the fit. The inner soles feature text in Helvetica fonts and zip-ties made from patent leather unique to Off-White are also added to complete the stylish look.
There are up to 3 colorways to choose from including University Gold, University Red, and Pine Green.
Nike Air Jordan 1 Low “Noble Red”
Jordan Brand had just launched a festive “Noble Red” colorway of its Air Jordan 1 Low featuring an all-black Swoosh to welcome this holiday season.
The design holds to the legendary original version that was released way back in 1985 with only changes in colors to fit with the modern times. The tongue still features the iconic Jumpman logo and the Wings on the heels unique to Air Jordans are still present.
The Nike Air Jordan 1 Low ‘Noble Red’ had just recently been released on December 20, 2019, on the Nike Online Store and is retailing for 3,600 THB.
Colin Kaepernick x Nike Air Force 1 CK
This might be one of the most hyped Air Force 1 models of the entire 2019 with the Colin Kaepernick x Nike Air Force 1 “Ture to 7”. The collection was born out of a collaboration between Nike and Colin Kaepernick, an American football quarterback last with the San Francisco 49ers, whom Nike has chosen to be the presenter of its 30th anniversary of the iconic Just Do It slogan in 2018.
This sparked a worldwide controversy due to Colin's stance against the racial injustice toward African-Americans by kneeling through the U.S national anthem before NFL games in 2016 rather than stand as is customary.
Black leather covers the majority of the upper with the Swoosh featuring a two-tone print that fades to white towards the heel. The special tongue badge features a "K" and leather hangtags are present. The back features Colin's graphic image and the shoe's signature mark is places under the blue translucent outsole with a printed "081416" – a direct acknowledgment of the first date that Kaepernick protested.

adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Yecheil”
Kanye West and Adidas will be closing out 2019 with another treat for the fans by dropping the latest Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Yecheil that comes with an upper composed of two-toned re-engineered Primeknit and a post-dyed monofilament black side stripe woven into the upper.
The midsoles utilize Adidas’ Boost technology known for its shock absorption. The Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Yecheil is available in all sizes (including children) since December 20, 2019, and retails in Thailand for 8,690 THB per pair.
adidas Yeezy 700 V3
The Adidas Yeezy 700 V3 “Azael” is the same model that Kanye West gifted to DJ Khaled at a private airfield this past September. Many speculations have risen since the news of the then-unreleased Adidas Yeezy Boost 700 V3.
Finally, on December 23, 2019, Adidas officially released an image of the new Yeezy 700 V3 “Azael” and announced the retail price at around $200 or about 6,100 THB. It is worth noting that the Azael is the only model of the Yeezy 700 family that doesn’t’ feature a Boost sole, but rather comes with an EVA technology covered in Polyurethane for increased comfort and durability.
Nike Air Max 90 x UNDEFEATED
The Nike Air Max 90 x UNDEFEATED is also another highly anticipated collection among sneakerheads. They are scheduled for release on December 30, 2019, at around $150 (4,500 THB) and will be available in 4 colors including Opti Yellow, Laser Blue, Green, and Red in both black and white bases, totaling in 8 different colorways to choose from.
This might be the beginning of the 30th-anniversary celebration of the Air Max 90 as it is set to be 30 years old by the time 2020 rolls around. Be sure to expect at least a few more collaborations with this model in the upcoming year.
