JUA
JUA - a modern Izakaya located in Charoen Krung - is a collaboration between chef Chet Adkins and professional photographer Jason Lang.
The first floor is a creation of designer Sean Dix, known for his work on many famous restaurants. The walls on both the 1st and 2nd floor feature photos from Jason himself, plus a few additions from his fellow photographers on the occasional rotation.
The menu was curated by Adkins, blending together Japanese food and the artistry he observed from cuisines around the world. Drinks at JUA focuses mostly on sake with over 10 different kinds to choose from. There’s also umeshu, shochu, Japanese whiskeys, and classic cocktails, as well as vodkas, wines, gins, and brandies.
JUA is open daily between 18.00 - 00.00 (Monday - Saturday) and 17.00 - 22.00 (Sunday).
