The Cliff

THE CLIFF is a bar and grill located on the edge of a hillside cliff alongside the ring road between Chaweng and Lamai. The all-day restaurant opened its doors in 2004 and has since received many awards including Thailand Tatler's "Best Restaurant" award for 2005, 2006, 2007, 2009 and 2011. The venue consists of three areas, a roadside terrace with seating for 12, a Mediterranean-style main room with 60 seats and finally the outside terrace, which can accommodate 28 guests. The extensive 11-page wine list features red & white wines from Australia, Italy, South Africa, Chile, France, New Zealand, Spain, Argentina and the USA, as well as champagne, sparkling wine, port wine and dessert wine. Every Friday and Saturday from 8pm onwards there are artists or DJs taking care of entertainment.
